Santa's Holiday (Characters)

A few characters I worked on for the animated short Korvatunturin Joululoma (Santa’s Holiday). Christmas movie produced by Anima Vitae/Anima Point, broadcast by YLE.
.
I did the modeling and put together the initial 3D look for all the new characters. The story and style are based on the work of legendary Finnish children’s book author/artist Mauri Kunnas, and I had the chance to work closely with him on this project, which was pretty amazing.
.
As always, this was very much a team effort. Lots of great people involved in getting everything to the finish line. Huge thanks to everyone, and a special shoutout to my closest team members Atte Uusitalo and Jamie Dower. Big love to the shading and groomFX team as well.
